Im such a Girl

My Latest and 5 year long secret obsession? Wedding dresses. It started 5 years ago at Suzzans Bridal on Gilbert Road. I went in to hush my then finance Stefan. Rolling my eyes I dug threw the rows and rows of foolishness. That is until the sales lady pinned my hearts desire with a simple conversation and look over my style. She pulled a dress I would have never worn in a billion years, and melted my heart. Ever since, Ive been a true fan. To date, I believe there have been 4 or 5 that I cant help but dream about, the one in this picture being the latest.Its a long, and boring story, me and wedding dresses... so I wont go there.However, recently at church I've noticed all the ladies wearing the cutest, expensive and creative dresses, hair pieces and jewelry and longed to have some of the same. So, I thought, why cant I make things like that? Well, I can. And Im going to. God gave me ONE gift, and that single gift is creativity. I may not be a domestic Goddess, I may not be Molly anything, but by golly, I can create beautiful things, and I shall. Ive already started my sketch books. Someday, after Im mega rich from selling my fairs and so on, Im going to design wedding dresses. I may get lost in the long long list of the finest most famous designers, BUT SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, will see my dress and her heart will melt, and she will fall in love, and I will have succeed. Im off to the store to get some ribbons, thread and needles, a bit of lace and beads and Ill post as I go. *crossing fingers*
